VOLUNTEER

Time is as valuable as money.  If you can dedicate some of your free time, there are numerous ways to help.  Call 714-487-1518 or email - info@SecondChancePetAdoptions.org  for more information on volunteer opportunities.

Cat and Kitten Care -
Reliable volunteers are needed twice a day to clean cages and feed cats at our 2 store locations. Times and days are flexible.

Trap-Neuter-Return - Stopping the breeding of feral and stray cats is the best way to cut down on the number of cats being killed at shelters.

Through our TNR program, volunteers are loaned traps, taught how to set them, given Spay/Neuter vouchers, and shown step by step what to do to help these forgotten and neglected cats.

Foster Homes - We need foster homes for when our store locations are full, as well as for cats that can't be put into the stores because of age, special needs, or social development. We provide supplies... you provide the love and attention. This is a great way to help from the comfort of your home.

Fundraising - We need motivated people with new and creative ideas to organize and oversee fundraising events.

We don't receive any government assistance and rely solely on donations to care for our cats and kittens.

Socialization / Exercise - Volunteers are needed to play and hold the cats and kittens at the stores while they wait to be adopted. Each location has a playroom where trained volunteers can take the cats for this special play time.
